 David Dunn | Senior Vice President
As the Senior Vice President of CRG West, David W. Dunn focuses on growing and managing CRG West's revenue opportunities. Whether it's overseeing colocation sales, real estate leasing, legal and business negotiation, new business sourcing or marketing functions for the company, Mr. Dunn uses his business savvy to ensure CRG West is readily positioned for continued growth. Since joining the company in 2004, Mr. Dunn has led transactions worth $50 million totaling over 150,000 square feet.
While Mr. Dunn found the telecommunications industry by chance – after being assigned to oversee some responsibilities of CRG West while at The Carlyle Group – he found the strategic and ever-changing aspects of technology real estate far more interesting than traditional commercial real estate. He takes great pride in growing the diversity of each facility's tenant base and watching small customers deploy more equipment as they grow and succeed. Although CRG West's commitment to its clients is to help them improve the reliability and efficiency of their networks, Mr. Dunn's personal commitment is to ensure that customers are satisfied with his company's management and customer service.
Combining his strengths in finance and real estate, Mr. Dunn was previously an Analyst for The Carlyle Group, where he focused on the asset and financial management of several key US real estate projects. Prior to joining The Carlyle Group, Mr. Dunn began his professional career at another private equity fund as an Analyst for JER Partners, where he evaluated acquisitions of hotel, office and residential properties.
Mr. Dunn graduated magna cum laude from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
